Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a communication device capable of reading current electricity prices and allowing the user to set a price threshold, based on which an appliance will be switched on. The thesis deals with the analysis of the issue of electricity market prices and provides a detailed description of the operation of the designed device, including its hardware and software solutions. The final part documents the entire construction process in the form of a manual.
