Abstract

This thesis is divided into two parts theoretical part and research part. Theoretical part describes pseudokarst caves of Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mountains. Another theoretical part of this work is to describe subterranean life, and main conditions of underground living.. Research part attempts to prove that there are some animals hibernating in pseudkarst caves of Gírová mountain during the winter 2008/2009.
