Abstract
The diploma thesis deals with the economic analysis of a selected mining company. For analysis, the pyramidal method of decomposition du pont is used, focusing on the analysis of the areas that most significantly affect the profitability of equity. The thesis is divided into the introductory part, which includes the theoretical definition of economic analysis. The main part represents the results of the analysis. The conclusion of the work assesses the situation identified and includes recommendations and measures for increased use of ROE.
