Košice jako Evropské hlavní město kultury 2013 ve vazbě na cestovní ruch

Abstract

This bachelor thesis defines tourism as a key aspect of region development. It presents socioeconomic development of the Košice city with consideration of an assigned title European City of Culture in 2013. The main object of investigation is development of the city, especially in the section of tourism after 2008, when the ECOC title for Košice was approved. It analyses indicators of accommodation and culture facilities in detail as well as performs qualitative research, on the basis of which subsequently interprets, which sections are developed in this city.
