Abstract

Bachelor thesis presents a proposal of support services for a municipal office, with particular application on Slavkov u Opavy municipality. We will compare different forms of administration and running of municipal buildings as well as other activities concerning municipal services. The first part of our work deals with the question of Facility Management. Our objective is not only to explain its main aims and effects but also to survey most frequently provided services and uses. We will also describe several possibilities how to compile and execute this type of activities. In the following part we will analyse general municipal office activities, with special focus on municipal facilities administration and maintenance. We will also propose a detailed analysis of a particular municipal property administration and maintenance. Our conclusive evaluation is supported by SWOT analysis of provided services in Slavkov u Opavy municipality. The final proposal might be as well applied on other municipal facilities.
