Abstract

This bachelor thesis summarizes the course of my individual professional practice, which I completed as a third year student of the Electrical Systems and Technology Design programme at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Technical University of Ostrava. I did my internship in the company MORAVIA CONSULT Olomouc a.s., which specializes in project preparation of railway, road and land constructions throughout the Czech Republic. In this company I was placed at the 236 centre, which specialises in power engineering, here I was involved in the modernisation/optimisation of railway lines. I primarily used MicroStation for my work, which I had two beginner training sessions on early in my apprenticeship. During my placement I also had the opportunity to go directly to the Havířov Railway Station to see the site for myself and have a better imagination when dealing with the issues, prior to this I also had the SŽ Bp1 safety training.
