Abstract

One of the main issues in military operations is reliable base supply of electric power. This requirement represents key presumption involved in final success of contingency operations, provides impellent motion for the development and modernization of energetics, mobile energy sources, and increases the comfort of residual soldiers. Decentralized production from renewable energy sources have huge impact on safety and efficiency of the army. The bachelor thesis defines energy requirements for the operating military base and describes possibilities of energy production in military operations. Evaluation is analysis of technical appliances and technologies for effective reduction of energy consumption in military conditions. Thesis also provides comprehensive overview of possibilities, how to reduce energy consumption in military bases. This overview can also be used in process decisions of AČR.
