dc.description.abstract-en	The article explores the autochthonic Carpathian in the mining area of Trojanovice, its geological structure, main stratigraphic finds and the current situation in this area. This mining area was thoroughly explored in the past due to the presence of an important black coal site and hence it is feasible to assume the existence of a natural oil and gas site which could be a potential target for future gas and oil drilling.	cs
