Abstract
Alkali activated materials are described as composites consisting of aluminosilicate binder and alkaline activator. In scope of this work finely ground granulated blast furnace slag was used. Activator was represented by four types of commercially available sodium water glass. Aim of this work is evaluation of physical - mechanical parameters of prepared mixtures differentiated by type of activator.
Experimental part of bachelor thesis included fresh mixture consistency and initial and final setting time determination. Furthermore density, flexural strength and compressive strength was on prepared specimens determined.
Experiments proved that fresh prepared mixtures reached similar parameters but results determined on cured specimens are very different.
