Abstract
The aim of this diploma thesis was to design and realize a microcontroller control system with a sigma-delta modulator for controlling power converters. The first part of this thesis focuses on the theoretical issues of sigma-delta modulators for controlling power converters followed by an analysis of individual blocks of the control system designed. Subsequently, the basic software equipment for the control system is descirbed and the last part of the thesis deals with verification of the function of the control system with a sigma-delta modulator.
