Abstract
The aim of my bachelor thesis is to establish safe rules when operating a floating bucket excavator, including the use of conveyor belts. Furthermore, the method of transporting the excavator operator from the lakeshore to the excavator and back will be evaluated. The rescue and safety equipment available to employees on the machine in the event of an emergency will be assessed and evaluated.
