Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the level of the motivational wage limit in the increase of the gross income and to enter the labor market from the position of the unemployed in the current situation of economic prosperity. The analysis is performed on exemplary households, the representation of which is based on the latest census. For the analysis of the wage motivation for the increase of the gross income of households is used the indicator of the marginal effective tax rate. The results of this thesis show that the most affected are low-income households and incomplete households with two children. These families are reliant on receiving social benefits, as their motivation wage does not reach even the minimum wage level. An analysis of the motivational wage margins for entering the labor market analyzes the total net income of households. Families have been found to be motivated to actively seek new employment since the first month of paid support. The conclusion is that the social system is now more generous than in 2011. Its excessive help may undermine labor market activity in the labor market.
