Abstract

This thesis deals with creation and verification of radio signal coverage maps for Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the physical principles of radio communication, communication equipment of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and coverage modeling possibilities. The practical part describes data collection, modeling of coverage with specialized software and verification of outputs, which are used to compose the coverage map. In the last part, the general method for creation of coverage maps is proposed, based on the gained knowledge.
