Nekonvenční řešení parkování v městském prostředí

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with an unconventional solution for parking in an urban environment. The theoretical part is devoted to the history, development and distribution of automatic parking systems, including the companies that offer these systems. Subsequently, in the practical part, a specific location is selected, where the current situation is described and a traffic survey is carried out to determine the use of the given parking areas. Furthermore, the necessary parking spaces were calculated for this location and a deficit of 617 spaces was found. In the last part, a simplified case study is developed, which aims to increase the number of places in the locality of interest by 100. Within the study, proposals for 2 variants are developed. The first variant includes only the addition of on-ground parking areas, while the second option envisages a combination of on-ground parking areas and automatic parking systems. Afterwards, the variants are evaluated based on several pre-selected criteria for choosing a more suitable solution for the urban environment.
