Abstract

The thesis is concerned with quality planning and quality improvement, which are one of the main fields in quality assurance and meeting customer requirements. The thesis describes the methods and tools of quality planning and improvement and shows some unconventional approaches to application of these methods and tools. The goal is to propose a modified methodology for product and process design, followed by optimization, using methods and tools as well as their unconventional approaches. The case study is applied to one of the possible product design optimization.
