Jana Boháčová, Ph.D. The subject of this work is to investigate the possibility of preparing luminescent materials based on cement and alkali-activated blast furnace slag. The theoretical part is divided into two parts. The first deals with the definition of luminescence, its distribution and use in practice. The second part deals with the characteristics of the raw materials used in the experiment. The experimental part deals with the formation of test specimens, consistency measurement, bulk density of fresh and hardened mortar, tensile strength and compressive strength. All tests were performed according to valid standards. The final part summarizes and comments on the results measured by laboratory testing and evaluating their suitability for their intended use in construction.
