Financial Analysis of Mengniu Company

Abstract

This work focuses on Mengniu Company. This company operates in the dairy industry and it is one of the leaders of milk production manufacturers in China. The main objective of the thesis is to assess the financial performance of Mengniu Company, based on data from year 2006 to 2010. Financial performance will be evaluated by means of methods of financial analysis, particularly by common-size analysis and financial ratios analysis. The thesis consists of three main parts. We use serveral methods to analyze the financial statement, including common-size analysis, financial ratios, DuPont analysis and influence quantification.
