Alternativní paliva pro spalovací motory

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with issues in the field of production and use of biofuels as alternatives to common fuels of fossil origin for internal combustion engines. The introductory chapter provides a general insight into the use of fossil fuels in road transport, while the second chapter provides a comprehensive overview of biofuel legislation in the Czech Republic and the EU. The following chapter divides biofuels according to state of matter and development generations, while the main emphasis is placed on the latter. The fourth chapter deals with the comparison of individual generations of biofuels with a focus on their advantages and disadvantages in four different areas. The final chapter is a summary of the entire content of this bachelor thesis.
