Abstract

This diploma thesis focuses on the implementation of a new spot weld inspection system at Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech (HMMC) in Nošovice. The thesis describes the current state of weld inspection, analyzes the need for modernization, and proposes a solution based on advanced ultrasonic technology. The key element of the implementation is the PHAsisNEO ultrasonic device, which enables more accurate and efficient detection of weld defects. The thesis provides a detailed description of the implementation process, including device setup, creation of inspection plans, and system testing. The results show significant improvements in inspection accuracy, process digitalization, and overall production efficiency. The conclusion evaluates the benefits of the new system and suggests further steps for continuous improvement of production quality at HMMC.
