Analýza minimálních mezd v zemích Evropské unie

Abstract

The aim of this Master's Thesis is to analyze level and development of minimum wage in European Union countries in 2010 - 2018. Another aim is to evaluate the position of the Czech Republic in case of minimum wages in the European Union countries. Minimum wage and its impacts on the labour market are very important worldwide. The first part is introduction. The second part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical foundation of minimum wages. The third chapter contains an empirical study on minimum wages in the European Union countries and the Czech Republic. Analyze itself is included in the fourth chapter and this analyze is focused on EU and also on the Czech Republic. The fifth chapter of the thesis contains proposals and recommendations to improve current position of minimum wages in the Czech Republic and European Union countries. The last chapter is a conclusion.
