Abstract
Bachelor's thesis mainly deals with the behavior of consumers in the Czech food market against the Polish imported products. The work is aimed at the Polish border area, the Moravian-Silesian Region. The main purpose is to determine customers' attitudes, their perceptions and requirements or vice versa concerns about their purchases of food from Poland. Thesis also includes recent affair with Polish food, their medialisation regarding qualitative deficiencies and their impact on the final customer. Due the fact, that Poland is among the major importer of food in Czech Republic were using the on-line querying to obtain the necessary data, which was then processed and analyzed in detail in the work. The theme of work may lead to an understanding of needs and requirements of Czech consumers by manufacturers and retailers.
