Abstract
This work is aimed to compare the influence of the initial structural state on formability of medium carbon steel C45 at hot condition. In the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis are characterized foundations of formability steels. In the experimental part were carried out and evaluated the uniaxial tension tests, which were performed in a wide range of deformation temperatures at a uniform high tension rate. The samples from initial fine grained deformed structural state had, in comparison with the samples from initial coarse grained cast structural state, higher strength properties. They were detected surprising results regarding to plastic properties. The better hot ductility was exhibited at high temperatures the samples made from the initial coarse grained cast structure, in contrast to the samples made from the initial fine grained deformed structure.
