Analýza konkurence vybraného těžebního podniku

Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze competition of Kaolin Hlubany a.s. main activity of this company is mining and processing of kaolins, clays and technical sands. Thesis consists of theoretical part, which is devoted to definition of basic concepts related to analysis of competition of selected company and methodology of work, which will be performed by analysis. In the practical part is performed characteristics of the selected mining company, introduced existing competitors in the industry and the analysis of competitive forces using the Porter model. In conclusion, the thesis deals with the evaluation of the analysis, identified potential threats and opportunities for the company, including proposals and recommendations to strengthen the competitiveness of the company.
