Abstract

This diploma work deals with simulation of temperature rise of N-RAPID DC high speed circuit breaker current path. The loading current of the high speed circuit breaker is 6000 A. For simulation of this task, the ANSYS software is used, which calculates with finite elements analysis. Results of this simulation were compared with real test, which was performed in testing laboratory of MEP POSTŘELMOV a.s. company. Temperature rise of particular parts of current path are shown on pictures and described closely.
