Abstract

This bachelor thesis is focused on the design of a theoretical production workplace with the aim of its optimization using quality management methods and tools in the ema Work Designer software. The designed production workplace focuses on the assembly of the alternator and its dispatch. Lean manufacturing methods and industrial robots were used for optimization. By comparing the results of the non-optimized and optimized production workplace, it was found that there was an improvement in ergonomics, reduction in work cycle time and reduction in walking distance.
