Návrh snížení nehodovosti na křižovatce silnic III/48411 a III/4845 ve Sviadnově

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on construction and traffic engineering measures at the crossroads of the Third Class Roads 48411 and 4845 and of the local road – The Nádražní Street in the village of Sviadnov. These designs serve as measures, which will increase the safety of driving through this crossroads and which will reduce the accident rate. The work is divided into 3 parts. The first part deals with the description of current state of the intersection and with the evaluation of a conducted traffic survey. Furthermore, there are the contemporary intersection capacitance calculation and the prognosis of traffic volumes for the next 25 years. Second part deals with construction and traffic engineering measures. These measures will be verified by using AutoTURN beam curves. Last section compares these proposals and selects the most appropriate option.
