Optimalizace procesu řízení pohybu silničních nákladních vozidel v areálu Třineckých železáren, a. s. Třinec

Abstract

The objective of this thesis is to propose optimization measures for routing and cargo vehicle management within the area of Třinecké Železárny, a. s. Třinec. To define bottlenecks in the evaluated process, extensive analysis of status quo was performed. Prior to the analysis, the current situation is described with the aim to clearly define the scope, limits and boundaries in order to specify what is and is not included in the proposed solution. The second part of this thesis focuses on outlining specific solutions to identified problems. The thesis proposes optimization measures that bring transparency to the logistics process, make it more efficient, faster (namely due to automation), reduce administrative load and labor requirements, improve visualization and introduce standardization. The final part of the thesis presents the necessary financial investment and economic impacts of the proposed solutions.
