Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to optimize inventory management in a selected company. The main objective is to characterize the current state of inventory management and to propose appropriate methods for improvement. The theoretical part contains a characterization of the principles and tools of inventory management. The practical part describes the current inventory management system in the company and performs an ABC analysis, which is then evaluated. The practical part concludes with an overall evaluation and a proposal for improvement.
