Abstract
This thesis describes the design and implementation of the pulse converter for driving the DC motor. In the first part of this work are discussed characteristics of DC motors and methods of their speed control. The second part focuses on the characteristics of modern integrated H-bridges. It contains control methods for H-bridges and their use for motor control in both directions including braking. This section also includes basic schemes for suplying DC motor from pulse converter. The next section describes the design of the power and control stage of the pulse converter, the procedure for selecting power components and determine their values. The work is also the support for the construction of the converter and contains the basic design rules for converter with storage choke.
