Abstract

The aim of Diploma Thesis is to characterize the cohesion region of Central Moravia and to analyze opportunities for the development of this NUTS II region. The development of the region can be realized in several ways. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the level of support for tourism as an option to support regional development. The Diploma Thesis is divided into five chapters. The second chapter presents the theoretical basis of regional development and tourism. The third chapter deals with the socio-economic analysis and regional structure of the region Central Moravia cohesion. The fourth chapter is focused on selected national and regional tourism promotion programs and their use in cohesion region Central Moravia.
