Abstract

Theme of this bachelor thesis deals with Application of the Lean Manufacturing principles in the area of inventory control in the company CTS Czech Republic s. r. o. The objective is to decrease inventory turns of 3 main suppliers which will result in cost effectivenesst and it will also increase the company´s competitiveness. The thesis is divided into theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part introduces to Lean Manufacturing principles, their implementation which help not only to improve company´s processes but also decrease the inventory turns. The practical part focuses on the current state of inventory turns in the CTS Czech Republic s.r.o. The analysis is realized by Lean Manufacturing tools. I have proposed resolutions which lead to decreasing of inventory turns and cost in stock. The final part includes data evaluation and improvement suggestions of decreasing cost and inventory turns.
