Abstract

This bachelor thesis examines the issue of administrative punishment of university students in the context of digital transformation within the academic environment. The primary objective of the work is to identify the impact of digitalization on the internal regulations of the Faculty of Law at Masaryk University, specifically the Disciplinary Code, and to analyze changes in the process of proving disciplinary offenses in a digital environment. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses the fundamental institutes of administrative punishment, the specifics of students' disciplinary liability, and the legal framework established by the Higher Education Act. The practical part is conducted through a case study examining two cases at the Faculty of Law of Masaryk University from the years 2020 and 2025. Through their comparison, the thesis reveals how digital technologies have influenced the course of the disciplinary process and the evidentiary procedure. The findings suggest that the adaptation of regulations to the digital environment is crucial for maintaining the fairness of the process.
