Abstract

Abstract. This thesis deals with the issue of calculations in the company Shape Steel a.s. with regard to the company's focus, which is custom manufacturing of steel cut shapes. The aim is to create a new method for calculating calculations and consequent implementation of calculations into a new information system. It is necessary to take into account the character of the company, custom manufacturing, individual approach and all business processes from production to delivery. The outcome of this work will be a new calculation formula that helps traders to objectively value customer demands and that will streamline the entire process of orders. This formula will be subsequently implemented into a new information system, which will allow in the future better analysis and optimization of calculations and it will lead to the development and growth of the company Shape Steel a.s.
