Abstract

The aim of this diploma thesis is to show opportunities of usage the computer vision in metallurgical industry. The first section describes the theoretical principle of image processing technologies. There are presented purposes of usage these technologies in practical examples in metallurgical industry in the next chapter. The next section presents practical computer vision system application. In the summary of this diploma thesis there are analysed possibilities of the future computer vision system in the future.
