Abstract
Theme of bachelor thesis is design, construction of heart sound microphone and creation of lab exercise to verify its correct function. Part of this thesis is dedicated to creation of cardio microphone that can be used instead of MLT-201 from ADInstruments. Two microphones were created. First one was based on electret microphone MCE100 NEW2 and second was based on piezo microphone KPT2038W. Original design was changed sevral times during development. Most influential change was creation of acoustic waveguide similar to one used by original microphone. Microphones equipped with this type of waveguide much better results than ones without it. Final design of our electret microphone managed to provide better recordings than original sensor.
