Zhodnocení hospodaření a fungování vybraného sportovního klubu

Abstract

This thesis deals with the evaluation of the financial management and overall functioning of a selected sports club. It includes a theoretical part that provides a basic insight into the role of sports in the national economy and into the various operational areas of a sports club. The theoretical section is followed by a practical part, which offers a detailed analysis of the functioning of a table tennis club. The aim of the thesis is a multi-level evaluation of the operations of the sports club. Based on the conducted analyses, it was found that the club is currently operating effectively and its overall financial management is at an adequate level. However, in the future, it is necessary to innovate the club’s approach to marketing activities and to renovate the building. These improvements can be financed by increasing membership fees, as the survey showed that club members are willing to pay higher contributions. It is also recommended that the club implement more activities aimed at increasing its financial income. If all these changes are appropriately put into practice, the club may achieve long-term sustainable growth and development.
