Geoturistický průvodce po vybraných krasových lokalitách v ČR

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the creation of geotourism guide to six signatificant karst regions in the Czech Republic (the Bohemian, Hranice, Javoříčko, Mladeč, and Moravian Karsts, and the Pavlov Hills Karst). The theoretical section characterizes these sites from the perspectives of geology, geomorphology, and hydrology and hydrogeology. The methodology includes field sampling of limestones and their subsequent microscopic analysis, focusing on structural features and fossils. The thesis result is a practical guide for the public that combines expert knowledge with the tourist appeal of selected sites, such as the Koněprusy Caves or the Macocha Abyss.
