Abstract
This diploma thesis is focused on radical differences in the public law regulation of advertisement in Slovak and Czech Republic. In spite of common history and the effort of European Union some legislation in both countries is different.
The nature of the thesis consists of three chapters, which deal with public law regulation in Slovakia, Czech Republic and in the end with the confrontation between the most important differences between both legislations.
For most important differences I consider the absence of anti-spam law and regulation of advertisement of funeral services in the Slovak law and the Czech law is missing restriction for alcohol advertisement during the day.
Thesis includes all necessary regulations with impact on advertisement in both countries and brings simple summary of standards, which have to be respected by advertisement to be considered as legal.
