Vliv současné migrační krize na Evropskou unii

Abstract

The thesis deals with the influence of the current migration crisis on the European Union. The Union suffers from migration crisis since the year 2015. Armed conflicts and political instability near the borders of EU are responsible that there is the largest number of refugees in the vicinity of Europe since the end of World War II. The European Union considers that the current migration crisis is the biggest problem nowadays. The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines the issue of migration and its historical development. Next section is devoted to the theory of migration in the context of the European integration process. More extensive practical part analyzes the migration flows that affected Europe in the year 2015 and 2016 including the latest data from the beginning year of 2017. A large part is devoted to a specific EU measures to solve migration crisis. The aim of the thesis is to provide a comprehensive view of migration in connection with the internal and external safety of the EU and to evaluate the taken measures.
