Abstract

This thesis describes optimalization of ductile cast iron production technology by a modification of the cored wire. The aim of the thesis is to select a supplier of cored wire together material requirements must be met. In the theoretical part of the thesis ductile cast iron, its properties, production and applications are described. In another chapter the modification by the cored wire is described. The experimental part of the thesis contains analysis of mechanical properties and microstructural analysis.
