Abstract

This paper analyzes the problem of management and control of accommodation facility in a protected area. In the first part the basic characteristics of the area is mentioned. There are listed legislative requirements, as the management of the accommodation and the requirements of the hotel operation in the management of the hetol operation in the PLA - protected landscape area territory. To meet the requirements would be appropriate to apply the methodology of environmental labels for accommodation facility. In the second part the information associated with the ecological labelling is described and explained. The basic information is followed by overview of mandatory and optional criteria that are necessary to fulfil obtaining the ecological label. The next section is a summary of fulfilled and unfulfilled criteria and ways to achieve the prescribed conditions. The conclusion summarizes the proposals for possible future operation of the hetol branded as Environmentally Friendly Service.
