Laboratorní úloha - zkoumání vlastností rentgenového záření

Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the study of the properties of X-ray radiation. The main objective was to analyze the change of X-ray spectrum when using metal filters made of Al, Zr, Zn, Cu, Ni and Fe and then to investigate the X-ray spectrum under gradual changes of voltage and current. Both sets of experimental measurements were performed using NaCl and KBr crystals. Descriptive statistics and correlation analysis were used to quantitatively evaluate the results for a deeper understanding of the physical phenomena. The results of the work were used to develop a laboratory task focused on the filtration of X-ray radiation and on the changes in spectral characteristics depending on the applied voltage and current. The laboratory task is mainly used for educational purposes.
