Studie metod zalesňování kalamitních holin v Javorníkách

Abstract

The Bachelor thesis is a part of the experimental work of new disaster clear-cut area reforestration methods in the region of Norway Spruce plantations, that are plagued by „eight-tooth spruce beetle“ (Ips typographus L.) calamity. This project is under the auspices of Národné lesnické centrum and it is sponsored by the Department of Agriculture of the Slovak Republic. The research area was located in the Javorníky Mnts., on Husárik hill. The literature recherche and field research data analysis constitute the whole thesis. Thesis is operatively divided into two parts. The natural stances of the research area and own work methodics are described comprehensively in the theoretical part of the thesis. Advantages and disadvantages of old reforestration methods and the theoretical approach of the legislative background of new reforestration methods are also mentioned. The practical part deals with particular variants of new reforestration methods and compares them with the old ones. The conclusion judges the acquired results and the accomplishment of all points.
