Abstract

The topic of the diploma thesis is the design of a computer program that is suitable for the creation of geological 3D models and their subsequent 3D printing on a Prusa i3 MK3 printer. The aim of the diploma thesis is to submit a proposal for a suitable computer program and develop to a user manual for 3D printing.

The theoretical part of the work is devoted to 3D printing technology. The practical part deals with the selection of a computer program. The selection of the program was made on the basis of the performed software testing. Part of the diploma thesis is also a user manual, which helps to understand the issue of 3D printing. Diploma thesis contributes to increasing the interactivity of teaching geological disciplines.
