Abstract

MALÝ, L.: Assessment of the video-based fire detection systems in a selected industrial enterprise, bachelor thesis, Ostrava: VŠB-TUO, FBI, 2019 This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of function and description of video image fire detection under various conditions in a selected industrial enterprise. There are described the basic principles of fire detection using this technology and its implementation to the practice with the description of various aplications in the world and also comparison with others current ways of detection. The final part of this thesis also desribes sensitivity testing of cameras detection and evaluation of advantages VFD (Video Fire Detection) technology within the possible future development and the ability to reduce time of fire detection. By doing so, it would be feasible to minimalize possible damages and provide immediate additional information about the size of the fire and its spreading, which could contribute to its faster liquidation.
