Abstract
The aim of this thesis was to prove a relation between a pre-ejection period and values of noninvasive measured blood pressure, and to demonstrate how the age can be connected with physical activities. Based on evaluation of time delays of thirty people divided into different age categories, there was found out an important influence of a physical activity on meaured parameters. For this purpose there were used a constructed phonocardiographic device and a multi-channel plethysmographic device. Meassured signals were elaborated in the MATLAB R2015a programme and evaluated statistically with the regressive analysis. All observed people had smaller time delays after doing a sports activity. On the contrary values of people measured at rest in most cases, did not show significant differences. Not surprisingly there was proved a connection of blood pressure with time delays – with higher pressure, the values of PEP, PAT and PTT were lower. The thesis also demonstrated the influence of the age on the measurement quantities which means that, with a few exceptions, the older the measured person was, the lower single time delays he had.
