Abstract

This thesis focuses on the application of the process of establishing a franchise company. The aim of the thesis is to describe the process of the franchise company and its establishment, to apply theoretical knowledge on a practical example. The theoretical part of the work contains methodology and theoretical starting points, including the essence of franchise business, history of franchising, description of franchise contract, legislation, advantages and disadvantages of franchising. The practical part deals with the practical process of establishing a franchise company and drawing up a business plan for a newly founded company focused on the sale of backpacks and additional products. A business plan includes competitor analysis, marketing, SWOT analysis and a financial plan. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the viability of the established company.
