Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis deals with switched-mode power supplies with a focus on the flyback (blocking) topology. The introductory part describes the basic types of commonly used switched-mode power supplies and their operating principles. Subsequently, an analysis of the requirements for individual components of an isolated flyback switched-mode power supply is presented, with particular emphasis on the power switch, transformer, rectifier, and filtering circuits. Attention is also paid to methods of implementing feedback control for the regulation of the output quantity transmitted through galvanic isolation, including their advantages and disadvantages. Based on the scope agreed upon with the thesis supervisor, a flyback switched-mode power supply is designed and implemented, with the design based on theoretical calculations and experimental testing. The functionality of the proposed solution is verified by experimental measurements.
