Abstract

This diploma thesis is focused on properties of special ceramics used for continuous casting. This ceramics is important article in continuous casting plant and thanks to continuous development technology with the purpose of increasing qualities, saving materials, energy and increasing effectiveness come to high demands of utility properties and quality. An experimental section is devoted to study properties of ceramics products on the ba-sis of Al2O3 subjected to the different conditions of temperature and pressure. The specimen which have undergone different terms were subjected to several test with goal to determine their properties. Comparing the result should be possible to determine the effects of a potential depending on their properties. Understanding the influence of the specified parameters has an important role to produce and guarantee required quality of ceramics products
