Abstract

This presented bachelor thesis deals with the subject cylindric pads, as one of the basic elements used in the security of property and buildings. It introduces the complexity of the mechanical barrier system, explains the principle of operation and division of the cylindric pads and describes the destructive and nondestructive methods of breaking them. The part is also a brief description of development trends in the use of cylindric pads of how to protect buildings. The goal of the work is aimed how to devise an increase of the protection of the cylindric pads against breaking them.
